Phil MilnerFully Qualified Human & Animal Chiropractor
Hi, I’m Phil Milner!
This practice’s main focus is to provide ALL humans AND animals with the best care, in order to promote both their long term fitness, and performance; as well as health and well being.
I qualified as a chiropractor at the McTimoney College of Chiropractic in 2010, winning the Lorna Ridgeway Award for services to the course. I represented the University on an international stage at the World Congress of Chiropractic Students. This thirst for knowledge and learning has continued, which is why I am delighted to have been invited to lecture internationally, since qualifying with the International Academy of Veterinary Chiropractic (IAVC).
Since graduating, I developed the belief that the best way to help patients during treatment, is to understand and use a combination of chiropractic techniques and therapies. This inspired me to gain an Advanced Sports Therapy Diploma with distinction, qualify with the British Medical Acupuncture Society, and continue training in further chiropractic techniques. These qualifications have lead to an ability to work with both humans and athletic and working animals, something, which has been a personal passion of mine, since I was a teenager.
I pride myself on being able to access a vast array therapies, and this knowledge enables me to specifically focus on relieving symptoms and restoring function for the patient, as compassionately and efficiently as possible.
I believe that every patient is special and in order for me to put together the perfect treatment plan, the patient experience includes many steps. To see what to expect and review each step click here. If you are unsure of what you may need, I am always happy to receive queries, and advise whether I can help, or refer you to someone who can!
In my spare time, I enjoy various hobbies, including cooking and training my gun dog Reggie; as well as following Horse and Greyhound racing.
Incredibly good Chiro! Attentive, thorough, and uses gentle techniques unlike most Chiropractors I have visited before. I had been in excruciating pain for weeks in my back- he solved it in a day and gave me priceless advice on how to keep my usually dysfunctional body pain-free. So impressed! I've recommended him to many friends and not one has been disappointed with his treatments. Nice to know there is a proper Chiro out there that will safely treat children, adults and animals alike...Gracie Aurora
Great job sorting my neck yesterday! I can now move, pain free 🙂 Great advice too. No aches & pains today- yay!!Claire Holley
I have only recently started working with Phil Milner - The Animal Chiro, and am so far very impressed at the care and knowledge with myself and my horses. My top Grand Prix Showjumper Warendorf has felt much straighter, more relaxed and more free since Phil has been treating him. I have also had treatment myself (which many riders seem to forget!) relieving pain and improving posture and my range of movement through my hips and shoulders, which is improving my position on and off the horses! Phil is very friendly and knowledgeable and I would highly recommend him to friends and clients.Remy Ellis
I have recently started having treatment with Phil for my Springer, to say I am impressed is an under statement, Jack has a new lease of life, nothing is too much trouble for Phil and his love and care for the animals is second to none. I am so pleased to have been referred to The Animal Chiro. Thank You so Much.Kiley Dexter
Phil has been a fantastic help in treating both myself (excellent posture really helps when riding dressage tests) and my horses. In particular, my horse Temo has gone from strength to strength since treatment of his hip, and can now canter in straight lines...simply amazing!! Would certainly recommend him for both human and animal treatment.Sophie HerridgeYard Manager, Event Rider
Lola has had a lack of mobility and a very strange gait since she came to me at 18 months. After 4 treatments with Phil she far happier and more graceful. Phil's approach to her has been firm but kind, and although at times she may not enjoy all aspects of the treatment, she remains delighted to see Phil when he arrives. He has an excellent manner with her and I have been relieved to see her improvement.Caroline Knox
The Animal Chiro (Phil) treated & maintained 'Mistralou' monthly through his first international season. He jumped double clear seven days after his second treatment at Aston Le Walls Advanced. I will continue using Philip through 2015 to help maintain my horses optimal function and campaign Mistralou to CCI*** this season.Lucienne ElmsInternational Event Rider
